About Sooner Exchange

Sooner Exchange is a local, Norman‑based marketplace for delivery and pickup only. Buyers and sellers use the platform to list, browse, and purchase items locally. All exchanges are expected to take place within the Norman area and may be arranged for pickup or local delivery between buyer and seller.

How Payments Work — Release Funds

When a buyer purchases an item the payment is held by the platform. After the buyer picks up the item and confirms receipt, the buyer must press the "Release Funds" button on their profile to release the held payment to the seller. Until the buyer presses that button the funds remain on hold.

The seller can mark an item as "Ready for pickup" once the item is available. This will notify the buyer and enable the Release Funds button for the buyer once pickup has been completed.

Liability

Sooner Exchange provides the platform to connect buyers and sellers in the Norman area. Sooner Exchange is not a party to transactions between users and accepts no liability for damages, losses, or bad transactions. Users transact at their own risk. We encourage clear communication between buyer and seller, exchanging photos, meeting in safe public locations, and confirming receipt only after inspection of the purchased item.
